The Velveteen Rabbit — A story about love, imagination, and becoming REAL.
Step into a world of childhood imagination, wonder, and love with The Velveteen Rabbit, a heartwarming stage adaptation of Margery Williams’ beloved classic.
When a young child receives a Velveteen Rabbit as a gift, the little toy dreams of becoming more than something forgotten on a shelf. Guided by the wisdom of the other toys and transformed by the love of his child, the Rabbit begins an unforgettable journey to discover what it truly means to be REAL.
Filled with imagination, friendship, tenderness, and timeless lessons about love and belonging, The Velveteen Rabbit reminds us that becoming real isn’t about how we look—it’s about being deeply loved.
Presented by the JAMS Black Box Theatre, this family-friendly production brings the classic story to life through the creativity and talents of JAMS' young actors and student production team.
Join us for a beautiful theatrical experience created for children, families, and anyone who remembers what it was like to believe that a favorite toy could come alive.
