When the King dies, it is his children who decide what of him survives.
Following the death of legendary blues musician Cornell "Titan" King, five estranged siblings gather at their father's Florida estate expecting answers, closure, and a final piece of the man who shaped their lives. At the dinner table, family stories collide with myth,and they are forced to confront the legacy he leaves behind and the people they have become in his shadow.
Blending Southern Gothic storytelling, Black folklore, Greek mythology, and original music, When Kingdom Comes is a captivating new play about family, memory, survival, and the stories we inherit.
